On an endless stretch of road in the Namibian desert, a hitch hiker – who is in fact a soul taker – hitches rides and takes the lives of those who are tired of life. The impoverished town of Bethany, where everything is dying, beckons him. Only the seer, an unemployed ex-projectionist, can see the outcome.
